Carbon Neutral

A company achieves carbon neutral status when it offsets the carbon dioxide emissions released into the atmosphere from its daily operations by absorbing or removing an equivalent amount from the atmosphere. This term is not regulated, although there are carbon-neutral certifications available.

Disclaimer: We include the nuances!
It was a deliberate choice to filter in the nuances. This means we don’t just include certified accreditation but also unregulated terms and commonly used jargon. We chose to do this in order to gain a more rounded picture of each brand, aiming to enhance the validity and reliability of our understanding of their ethical stance.
